Dear friends,

the first 'test-tube baby' in the Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe was born in our IVF centre in 1982. Since then, the assisted reproduction methods have made a major progress and have become an integral part of the reproductive medicine. Today, the assisted reproduction techniques represent the most effective approach to the treatment of infertility.

More than thirty years of clinical experience based on our research activities are reflected in our treatment results, which are on par with those of the leading IVF centers worldwide. At present, our Centre offers all up-to-date methods and techniques of assisted reproduction, including egg and embryo donation.

EBCOG certificateOur center achieved the certification of EN ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2002. Since May 2002 our department is a holder of Certificate of Acreditation of The European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG) as an accredited European Training Centre.

We would like to thank you for your confidence in the team of the Centre of Assisted Reproduction of the Dept. of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Brno. We hope that you will successfully complete your treatment and will achieve your aim - to have your own baby. Please address your questions to our physicians and nurses from the Assisted Reproduction Programme, who will be happy to give you detailed information.
